Mistley Kids Club

Mistley Kids Club is an after-school and holiday club for children between the ages of 4 and 16 (up until their 19th birthday if your child has any additional needs). We are Ofsted regulated and all staff are DBS checked​.

Mistley Kids Club is a non-profit organisation and is completely inclusive and we cater for all children of all abilities. We have children from all around the area we are in, from a wide range of schools - mainstream schools to special educational needs schools.

Mistley Kids club is one of very few clubs that has children from both sets of schools therefore we have many children on a daily basis. All of the children that attend the club interact with each other and get along brilliantly, even though there is a wide range of communication methods that the children use.

Our mainstream children come from all around the area and we have children from both primary and secondary schools. Even though there is such an age difference between the younger and older children that attend the club, they are all excellent at playing with and helping each other to make sure that they are all having fun whilst at the club. Mistley Kids Club has proven to help children with the transition from pre-school to primary school and then onto secondary school and also when new children move to the area. This is because they are able to make new friends at kids club before moving to their new school. Our mainstream children are extremely helpful with our children with additional needs by interacting with them and also helping with the care of them. We are very happy that all of our children accept each other, even though some of the children are very different to themselves, and ensure that their friends are having fun while at kids club. All of our children at kids club are very special to us and we are like one big family.

 

As Mistley Kids Club is a non-profit organisation all of the money we receive goes straight back into the club, this also means we get most of our money from the day to day running of the club. As we make money this way it can be very difficult to come by money sometimes. Without this money we would not be able to buy new toys for all our children and take them on some of the amazing trips we have before. So we would ask anyone that could help us to donate a bit of little money so that we can carry on providing for these children. We are extremely grateful for all of your donations and we appreciate it so much.
